Our Core Values

Health and Wellness: refers to well-being and freedom from sickness. We believe that we can get sick, but we do not have to remain sick; healing is possible. God says He wishes, above all things, that we prosper and be in health. We help clients move from a state of sickness to health and wellbeing.

Spirituality may be defined as a belief in something greater than ourselves that guides our sense of meaning, value, and purpose in life. It refers to the way we experience connectedness to the moment, to self, to others, to nature and to a greater power. We believe that spirituality is one dimension of health that can have a transformative effect on our well-being. We help clients searching for the meaning of life to find answers to the fundamental questions important to them.

Empathy and Compassion are the foundation of our work. We try to put ourselves in our clients' shoes and provide understanding and caring service.

Quality of life: refers to the degree to which an individual is healthy, comfortable, happy and able to participate in and enjoy life. We help our clients to be intentional about their happiness and enjoy life irrespective of the state in which they find themselves.

Respect is the honour and care shown to others. We respect all our clients and do not discriminate.

Transformation: refers to making tangible changes. We help clients make the lifestyle changes required to improve their health.

Service: We come from a place of genuine service and are focused on making a positive impact on the lives of others.

My Story

I am an educator by profession. I served several years as a lecturer in Teacher Education and then as a senior education officer in education administration. After a couple of years in Education, I was motivated by a thought that said, “You have done your Job; it is now time to do your work.” Your job is what you do for a living; your work is your service to God and your fellowmen. So, I took early retirement from my job to do some meaningful life work.

However, I was diagnosed with cancer the following year. I was having some problems with hemimerids; I had surgery to remove the hemimerids, and the pathology report came back positive for Stage 3b Carcinoma. I went through the entire conventional treatment, surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. Everything went as planned, and I was recovering well, but the following year, I started having similar symptoms, went back to the doctor, and discovered that the cancer had come back. I had to do another surgery. The suggested treatment after the second surgery was six weeks of rapid Chemotherapy. My body’s reaction to the first Chemotherapy treatment was not very good. I was not able to digest anything for months. As a result, I was very apprehensive about taking that much more Chemo.

I decided to pray about it and trust God for my healing. I started doing some research, and I was led to a healing cancer program online; it gave me the information and inspiration that I needed to take an integrative approach to my treatment. I saw a nutritionist and did a four-week juice detox; then, I worked with a naturopathic doctor to switch to a plant-based diet. I had to stop eating meat, sugar, and wheat, which meant no bread, no crackers, no artificial seasoning, no processed foods, no fast food, etc. It was hard, but I stuck with it through the grace of God, standing on the healing power in His words.

It’s been six years, and I think I am well. My last PET CT Scan result said, ‘no Mets and no spread’. So I gave God thanks, declared myself cancer-free, and went on to live my life. But it was an arduous and lonely journey. When it comes to cancer, everybody is an expert at curing it, yet no one has a clue. Finding reliable and useful information was like finding a needle in a haystack. Fortunately for me, I had already taken early retirement, so I had the time to mine the information, analyze it, synthesize it and apply it with efficacy. Many persons do not have that luxury.

There are a lot of people who are suffering with and dying from cancer, and they don’t have to suffer and die.  There are enough scientific, tried, tested and proven knowledge and resources available that can save lives and help people enjoy a better quality of life. But Hosea 4:6 laments that God’s people suffer from a lack of knowledge.
Many times, when persons are diagnosed with cancer, they don’t have anyone to talk to. They cannot speak to their spouse or children because everybody is worried, and they don’t want to burden their family and friends. However, being able to talk about the experience with someone is an integral part of the healing. The doctors do their best but doctors do not have the time and resources required to fully support their patients in this way.  I have distilled the information and experience into a simple cancer coaching programme that will help you come to terms with the illness and choose your individual food and lifestyle practices to help you get well and return to living your best life.

It has been said that your pain is your purpose, and I am guided by the word of God, which says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any problem with the comfort we receive from God. (2 Corinthians 1:3-5 NIV). So, I sincerely believe that this is an area in which I can serve by walking alongside persons diagnosed with cancer and other illnesses, and supporting them through their healing journey.

So we extend a warm invitation to you to come “Let us talk about It”.
